Sarah Palin sings the aria “I am the future of the Republican Party” using florid language about her mission as the future of the GOP. This particular photo was circulated between many print publications and on the internet representing the Guerilla Opera world premier production.

A large aspect of the production was to use cardboard cutouts, which you see in the foreground and background of this photo. They represent a number of different people and doppelgangers to many of the characters in the opera.

One of the debate scenes which use text directly from the 2008 Vice Presidential Debate. This production used live cameras on the stage projecting the images of the VP candidates in to large projector screens.
