ABOUT THE WORK

This ghostly new opera weaves together eerie stories by Anton Chekhov that explore the commonalities of experiences with the unknown.

What happens when strangers are alone in the night? Nothing is clear and anything might happen next.

An old man and a young man are together in a dark forest on a cold night, when a girl appears asking for help. They must decide whether to leave their post or to remain, and tensions rise to the forefront
